Top work

The upper and lower windshield has been sandblasted and mounted in place and got a layer of primer.

The wood on the rear is ready and fasted with screws and varnished.The top has been tested and seems to work out proper.

I have just finished to take it all apart and all the old clothes and so much nails ! The wood bows and the steel bows is now apart and  the left front bow was broken and this I must glue and reinforce before I can mount it all back in place.

The producers name for the wood bows is marked in one bow. The name of the top was also located on one of the steel bows.

Engine and floor

The floorboards has got a ground layer of varnish and the outside or downside has also been painted black.

The cylinders and the valves are now drilled and new pistons and valves is fitted in place.

The wood in the rear is now being  fitted and also the interior wood at the the rear.

Rear doors and body

The last couple of weeks I have spent remaking the left rear body to the door.The body section pointed towards the centerline which is not correct it should lean somewhat out.I have also repaired the door plates on the rear doors.So also the plates that are under the rear doors.

Rearfloor and steering

I have made a floor plate for the rear floor.

The pillar is now ready to put in place and I have also test mounted the upper front window channel.

The steering is a new bracket for the frame made and also trying the the right position for the front seat and the steering wheel.

Rearplate and windshield

The rear plate has been welded to the right shape and also got a layer of plastic filling to begin with the ground work before painting later.

The rear seat is now mounted in the right place fastened and also primed.

The pillar for the windshield is one copy made because one was to another year model.

I have also bought wheels and  used  tires I hope the rims I have fits also.

Bearing and plate

I have dismounted the rearaxel and identified the Timken numbers which I hope to find at Hershey.I have a friend that are going to Hershey.

The rear plate has undergoing a touch up so the surface is good and not to much plastic filling is needed when the finish work begins.

The side panels on both sides are now fitted,primed and nailed in place.

The front seat back on the top side has been shaped to somewhat the right shape.

First year

Here is the the results after one year of work.

The most of the doors are ready,The top part of the engine is in a shop for drilling and new valves are fitted.

The last days have I cleaned the aluminum part of the engine it looks like new again -amazing!

The doors are  varnished .The cylinder head are cleaned and next step are to get it  plain.

Doors

I have sanded and varnished all four doors.The door locks has been attached with so far two screws on each lock.

The engine Red Seal model 7R is only one gear missing for the water pump shaft that drives the oil pump gear.I hope to find it.
