A Swedish total restoration project of a Columbia Six from 1923
The hood ,the front windows with the pillars and the front bar with headlight assembly is now being painted.
The valve springs are after some measure troubles home.
The floors both front and rear has been sanded and got a layer of varnish and also the other wood got a layer.The wood for the front and rear seat is now ready.
The rear axle and the pinion are new bearings been mounted the rest of the new bearings is waiting to be mounted. on the drive axles.
I have begun to fit in the front bar and the head lamps .On the left side plate I had to make some adjustment . I discovered that the surface was not smooth.The bearings to the pinion and the rear axle has arrived. I am waiting for the Timken 347 when it arrives it is all complete to mount in place.I hope that I also fond a new valve spring that I have damaged.
The work continues .The rear wheels has the brake drums been bolted in place.The brake band are also painted.
The front plate under the radiator has been sandblasted and fitted in place but not ready yet. The plates under the hood are new made and
not bolted to the frame and the hood springs is next to be fitted in place.
The year 2012 begun with more plastic filling and finishing job before painting.The front seat is also repaired and new side plates has been done.
The engine has arrived from the shop that made new babbits both for the sleeves and crankshaft bearings.There is more to do there before it is ok in tolerance.
I have test mounted the engine to see how it looks.
The doors got two new inside handles .
The fenders has been sandblasted and primed.The engine bolts are now cleaned and steel brushed after been heat treated.
A NOS new head gasket and gasket for the manifold has I bought.The door locks is now completed in place and adjusted.

I have turned the car around. That is for better overview when working.
The footstep and the side plate and fitting it all to the rear fender is the work that is in progress.
The frontaxel are now mounted with wheels.The footstep are mounted with screws.The rear fender is finally in the right place .The sideplate has been prímed.The footstep needs to adjust more to the front fender mountings.
The work continues the last months has been passing away.The new footsteps is ready to fit in place they have been varnished a couple of times.The bolts and nuts for the cylinder head is ready to be hardned.The hubs for the front axel is also ready to be fitted in place.The wheels needs to be drilled for the larger hubs.
